HOW TO MAKE CAJUN GARLIC SHRIMP RAMEN NOODLES
First, prepare the noodles according to package instructions. It is important to note, preparing the noodles al dente will work best for the recipe. The broth will be added at the end and will continue to "cook" the noodles.
Set noodles aside in a bowl, it is important to note that you will keep the pasta water for future use.
Begin preparing the remaining ingredients. At this step, also prepare the soft-boiled eggs if you are preparing them. Step-by-step instructions are listed below.
HOW TO PREPARE THE SOFT-BOILED EGGS
First, add about two cups of water to a sauce pot. On medium/high heat, add a top to the sauce pot and bring to a boil. Once the water is boiling, add eggs and boil for six minutes.
At this instant, remove the eggs immediately from boiling water and place in an ice bath (water with ice in a bowl) and allow eggs to cool. Lastly, peel eggs, slice in half and set aside until further use.
Now, prepare the remaining ingredients for the shrimp ramen noodle bowl.
PREPARING THE ADDITIONAL TOPPINGS FOR NOODLES
Peel shrimp and keep shells but set them aside. Liberally season the shrimp with Cajun Seasoning and sauté with oil until plump and cooked through.
Now, roughly chop the cilantro and parsley. Next, using the same pot with the reserved pasta water, add garlic, ginger, ramen seasoning packet, coconut milk and shrimp shells.
Allow broth to boil while preparing the remaining ingredients.
SAUTE CORN AND MUSHROOMS
Using a small sauté pan, sear the corn and mushrooms separately until cooked through. Use a small amount (less than one teaspoon) of oil to sauté both ingredients if needed.
