Jump to RecipeWHAT IS CAJUN SHRIMP TOAST WITH HOLLANDAISE SAUCE?
This recipe takes a spin on traditional eggs benedicts and adds a cajun, seafood flare. Eggs Benedict are prepared with an english muffin, canadian bacon, poached egg and topped with hollandaise sauce. On the other hand, this recipe takes a trip down to the bayou in New Orleans and provides flavors of cajun style food.
To explain, this recipe uses a slice of rustic artisan bread instead of the english muffin. While the canadian bacon is omitted, it's replaced with plump cajun seasoned shrimp. In other words, the traditional texture and flavor from the hollandaise sauce is present. But, a cajun hollandaise sauce emerges and provides for a flavorful twist I'm certain you'll enjoy!
