How To Make From Scratch Fresh Peach Salsa with Shrimp

Peaches are in season! Cool off with this summer friendly salsa with fresh peaches, red onion, red peppers, honey, lime and plump salad shrimp. Pair with tortilla chips, crunchy bread, grilled chicken or salmon and prepare your tastebuds for a flavor explosion!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Fresh Peaches (about 5 small/medium sized peaches)
  • 1.5 cups Salad Shrimp (or favorite shrimp)
  • ½ cup Red Onion (roughly chopped)
  • ¾ cup Red Pepper (roughly chopped)
  • cup Cilantro (roughly chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • ½ Lime Juice (small/medium sized, about 2 tablespoon worth)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions
 

  • Begin by small dicing and chopping the peaches, red onion, cilantro and red pepper. If you are not using salad shrimp, roughly chop your desired cooked shrimp into bite sized pieces.
  • Next, grab a medium to large sized bowl and begin adding the chopped peaches to the bowl. Then add the cooked shrimp, red pepper and red onion.
  • Add the cilantro and pour in the honey.
  • Season liberally with salt and pepper until desired taste is reached.
  • Lastly, squeeze lime juice over ingredients, stir one last time and adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Serve and enjoy!
