Shakshuka with Feta & Burrata

Sometimes, breakfast (or brunch) for dinner is just where it's at! Coming over for brinner? This middle eastern/northern African inspired dish is packed with deep exotic flavors that'll send you on an instant vacation giving you all the comfy feels you desire. Topped with fresh feta and burrata cheese dipping with fresh garlic bread is a sure crowd pleaser for all your foodie friends and family!

Ingredients
  

  • 28 oz Crushed Canned Tomatoes
  • 14.5 oz Diced Tomatotes
  • 4 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 Small Onion roughly chopped
  • 1 tb Tomato Paste
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • ½ tsp Crushed Red Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon 7 Spices
  • ¼ cup Feta Cheese
  • ½ oz Burrata Cheese
  • ¼ cup Cilantro
  • 5 Sprigs Green Onion chopped
  • 1 tsp Cooking Oil
  • 5-6 Eggs
  • Salt + Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 385 degrees.
  • In a large and deep skillet, add oil and sauté onion and garlic until translucent. 
  • Add tomato paste and stir for one minute.
  • Add all spices and cook until fragrant. 
  • Add canned tomatoes, stir and scrape bottom of pan. 
  • Add cilantro and green onion, stir.
  • Adjust taste by adding salt and pepper.
  • Make small pockets with the back of a spoon and pour in eggs. Season egg with salt. 
  • Place pan in the oven 5-7 minutes until eggs are firm but runny.
  • Top with feta cheese, burrata, cilantro and burrata and enjoy!
