Crispy Green Beans, Caramelized Onions & Mushrooms

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tb Cooking Oil
  • ½ lb Fresh Green Beans
  • ½ Red Onion medium sized
  • 1 tb Garlic
  • ½ cup Shiitake Mushrooms
  • ½ cup Baby Bella Mushrooms
  • 2 tb Soy Sauce
  • Salt + Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare fresh green beans by cleaning and trimming the ends.
  • In a large skillet on medium/high heat, place cooking oil in pan and add garlic, sauté until fragrant.
  • Add onion, salt and pepper and sauté until translucent adding small amounts of water (to release charred bits) until completely cooked down.
  • Add mushrooms and cook until mushrooms release moisture and are cooked through.
  • Add green beans and sauté for 5-7 minutes until well coated and combined with ingredients and slightly charred on the outside (should be crunchy).
  • Add soy sauce and toss until coated and add additional salt and pepper if needed. Enjoy!
