WHAT IS SANGRIA?
Sangria is an adult cocktail made with red or white wine together with bourbon or your favorite libation, fresh fruits and juice!
Furthermore, the longer this punch ferments, the "stronger" the flavor and alcohol content increases. This Fall Blackberry Sangria is made with Brandy Wine and Bourbon and is perfect for the fall season!

INGREDIENTS
- Red Wine. Your favorite red blend. In this recipe, I used Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
- Bourbon/Whiskey. This recipe has been tested with Maker's Mark and Jameson, both of which are highly recommended!
- Cran-Blackberry Juice. You can find it at your local grocery store or here.
- Lemon Lime Soda. Sprite or lemon/lime flavored club soda.
- Orange Juice. Freshly squeezed or store-bought works.
- Garnishes. Blackberries, cranberries, green apples, oranges, rosemary and your favorite toppings!

WHAT TYPE OF BOURBON OR WHISKEY TO USE?
This recipe was tested with several brands of bourbon and whiskey. Without doubt, use what you have on hand and more importantly, good quality bourbon or whiskey is what works best!
Here are a few recommendations that is not the ultimate rule, but merely suggestions:
HOW TO SERVE BLACKBERRY SANGRIA
In the first place, this Blackberry Sangria is the perfect accompaniment to pair with just about anything (and I'm not just saying that). Even my picky husband who likes-what he calls "manly drinks", devours this just as much as I do when I've thrown a pitcher together for us.
To explain, serve sangria with spicy or heavy foods. Furthermore, use a stemless or traditional wine glass with a wide opening to dress the glass with garnishes. Serve the Fall Blackberry Sangria chilled or at room temperature.

HOW TO MAKE BLACKBERRY SANGRIA WITH BOURBON
Begin by thinly slicing apples and oranges. Clean additional fruits and any other toppings and set aside.
Next, in a large pitcher add all prepped fruit first. Now, pour wine, bourbon or whiskey, cran-blackberry juice, orange juice and stir.
Finally, finish by topping with club soda. Taste for sweetness (or "heaviness") and adjust to your liking. Enjoy!
