Fully loaded deviled eggs have the luscious creamy base of classic deviled eggs, with the addition of saucy, tender shredded chicken breasts, fried onions, and spicy jalapeños. But this recipe is one of my favorite upgrades! When we think of loaded, it's often for the loaded baked potato, with sour cream and sharp cheddar cheese. But loaded deviled eggs are just as filling and addictive!

Ingredients
These easy loaded deviled eggs come together with simple ingredients. Start with a rich, creamy egg yolk mixture.
- Hard Boiled Eggs. You will have enough to make 8 loaded deviled eggs.
- Rotisserie Shredded Chicken.
- BBQ Sauce. Toss the chicken in your favorite barbecue sauce. You will need additional sauce for garnishing.
- Jalapeño. Add a slice of jalapeno to each deviled egg.
- Fried Onions. For a crispy, savory crunch.
- Pickled Red Onion. This tangy, tart element perfectly complements the shredded BBQ chicken.
- Mayo. For the creamy "deviled" base. Use Blue Plate, Duke's, or Hellman's.
- Sweet Relish. For a sweet, vinegary taste.
- Mustard. For zesty flavor. Use Dijon mustard if you prefer.
- Seasoning. Salt, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and sugar.
- Fresh Parsley. A fresh herb adds color and a bright taste.
How to Make Loaded Deviled Eggs
Prepare bbq chicken, pickled red onions, and boiled eggs ahead of time in order to make assembly easier.
BBQ Shredded Chicken
Prepare BBQ chicken shredding rotisserie chicken with two forks or a hand mixer. Next, mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce and stir until combined.

Prepare pickled red onions using my recipe.
Prepare Devilled Eggs
Prep additional ingredients by thinly slicing one jalapeno, roughly chopping parsley and measuring additional ingredients.
After the eggs are boiled, slice them in half and remove the yolks by placing them in a small bowl and placing halved eggs on a large plate. To the small bowl with egg yolks, add mayo, relish, mustard, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, pepper, and sugar. Stir until well combined.
Carefully fill each half with about ½ to 1 tablespoon of filling. Then top with about ½ teaspoon of shredded BBQ chicken on top of each deviled egg. Garnish with ½ teaspoon pickled red onion, fried onion, and one sliced jalapeno. Finally, garnish by drizzling extra BBQ sauce on top and fresh parsley
Tips and Tricks
- This recipe has some prep involved, preparing the pickled red onions and BBQ chicken ahead of time will make the recipe easier to prepare.
- For perfect hard-boiled eggs, gently place your eggs in a shallow pot and fill it with water just to cover the eggs. Turn heat on medium-high heat and once the eggs begin to boil, turn off the heat and cover for 15-20 minutes.
- Use store-bought rotisserie chicken, measure about ½ cup of chicken, and mix your favorite BBQ sauce.
- This recipe would be just as tasty with pulled pork instead of chicken.
How to Store Leftovers
Store leftover deviled eggs. Store the egg yolk filling, egg whites, and bbq chicken, separately in the fridge. Wrap the egg whites in plastic wrap and place the filling in an airtight container. This will keep the deviled eggs moist. Leftovers will last up to 2 days in the fridge.
Can I make Loaded Deviled Eggs in advance?
Absolutely! Prepare elements of the recipe beforehand and assemble just before serving.
